Imagine that, but with much bigger documents things that could affect your job, your money, or even your home. That’s where a notary comes in. So, what is a notary? A notary is an official person who makes sure documents are real and trustworthy. Think of them as a witness who says, “Yes, this person really signed this paper.” They don’t take sides. They just make sure everything is clear and correct. Why do we need one? In Saudi Arabia, people often go to a notary when they want to: Buy or sell property like land or a house. Write an agreement between two people or companies. Verify documents such as a power of attorney (this lets someone else handle things on your behalf).
